Russian term

русским-по-белому

Russian to English Art/Literary Government / Politics political essays
That is a short political essay about love of many Russians to hunting, while hunting is considered to be an immoral interest for modern human anywhere in Europe or US. I tend to translate "in a clear Russian language", but it may trail other changes in the text. I'm not sure. Please, help.

Brightest moments to all!

Sergey, It would appear wicked for Russian readers who reads in English and wouldn't be understood by natives.
Sergei Tumanov Feb 17, 2010:
perhaps 'in Russian and white'
?

My sweet darling! Nice to see you! Forgive me everything ahead for the sake of the Day of Forgiveness!!! You see, I'm ready to kiss the devil, when I get a project.About your answer:more like it, but why "as" - ? I think it was modified from "black-on-white". This, rather spiteful remark about foreigners writing in Russian - may be you would like to change the second part of your answer slightly? Please...
I will change it into " in black-and-white in plain Russian" listening to Judith
Peer comment(s):

agree Alexander Palatash : in plain Russian (as opposed to "in plain English")

spelled it out

said it bluntly

in a straight forward and clear way

since, in black and white does not really work in the context...
Note from asker:
to spell, spelt, spelt. That's the trouble - this "not unknown" humour writer WROTE IT.

in words that are as clear as day

I'm thinking of a variant on the expression "using words of one syllable", used in the same sense.
Note from asker:
Thanks! As general idea - yes, but I would rather keep "black-and-white".
