Pet food?
Hi everyone...
Bit of a weird one! It's from a 'how much do you love your cat' quiz featuring questions like "do you ask your cat for advice" and so on.
One of the questions is:
"ti piacciono le crocchette di polmone?"
what on earth are they? some sort of tripe biscuit?
TIA

: Hence I was not completely crazy in my answer! :)) I wrote "croquettes" as I found in my dictionary, now I know the other (yours) term as well, thanks for that.

: in Italy, we do not have lung kibbles, so, what's the questionnaire is dealing with? Unless you discover it you can't translate it nor correctly translate it. IMHO R:without ever advertising it? sounds pretty weird, isn't it?

dear mirra, lung is a traditional food for cats... so it is absolutely possible some producer of pet food put it into kibbles

lung croquettes
I suppose you can use this. After all it can't be anything else, as pets are treated better than humans nowaday!

In Italy there seem to be nothing else to feed pets! So...

I mean several kinds of this very popular food, chicken, liver, and so on! Popular with pets... obviously!

These often come in form of croquettes, small crispy balls of the product.

The word probably comes from"croccante" as they are "crisp", "crunchy" when eaten.

: sorry, but they do not result to exist! (but I'd eagerly agree if you can present at least one evidence of their existence, tnx :) R:you can't judge but you can think and it sounds weird so probably it refers to something else.

Personally it makes me sick, but if the Italian text uses "polmone" you can't put "liver or chicken " instead! After all the recipe for the pet food is not ours! We can't judge tastes! Someone probably wanted "polmone" and "lung " it is! :)) De gustibus.

: lung has always been traditionally used to feed cats...so I don't think useful to make such a fuss about cats' taste !!!!

Thanks. Actually , apart from personal tastes, and probably not the best word I've chosen in my answer (but found in my dictionary), I can't see anything strange. :)

: But here what is meant is the kind of pellets or similar crunchy pieces of food for pets, so I think Maribea got the right one. As I said in Italian it comes from "croccante" i.e. crunch(y). :)

Discussion
So I guess that they're feeding lungs to the cat but they try to sound it is a yummi expensive processed food, like 'crocchette' are, to tease the cat...
?
:)
try to search more but I doubt to find them
