Spanish term

PARA LA CAJA

Spanish to English Social Sciences Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Birth Certificate
On the back of an Argentinean birth certificate, there are various notations. Above is "Municipalidad de X / Direccion de Registro Civil". Next line is "DE:" followed by what appears to be the initials HNC. Third line is an 8-digit number. Fourth line is "Copia de:" followed by surname and first name of the child mentioned in the birth certificate. Below this is the phrase: PARA LA CAJA with what appears to be the initials MAT below that. All of this is followed by the standard certification: "Certifico que el presente documento es copia fiel del acta original que se encuentra en el archivo del Registro Civil de..." An acquaintance (who is not specifically familiar with Argentinean Spanish) suggested it might mean "For the File," but that's just a guess.

Tax Collector's Office?

En caso de que se refiera a algun tipo de impuesto o sello a pagar ya que segun parece esta seguida de la aclaracion Matricula. Esto es en virtud de las legalizaciones o certificaciones que hay que pagar en Argentina.

La Caja is used in all official posts, it basically means that it is not important for the bearer, it serves only a bureaucratic function
