French term

schéma délégataire

French to English Bus/Financial Accounting risk management
Under the section heading "Responsabilité ultime des risques," this sentence reads:

"Les décisions sont prises suivant le schéma délégataire fixé conformément aux préconisations de la DRG."

DRG = Direction des Risques du Groupe

The existing translation (TM) gives "appropriate exposure limits" - should I stick with it?

Many thanks -

is delegated according to

Change the subject of the sentence: risk-taking responsibility is delegated according to DRG recommendations (on appropriate exposure limits).

As on this UK website:
"Rules of conduct: defining rules by event and individual, committee and organisational unit alignment, e,g, defining to what extent risk-taking responsibility can be delegated downwards, defining what happens when limits are breached, etc."

Hi Steph. I'm justing posting this for "schéma" not the entire question. I don't think that "appropriate" is correct because that's not what it says - it's a chart, grid, matrix etc..

A Risk Matrix is a tool used in the Risk Assessment process, it allows the severity of the risk of an event occurring to be determined.

sorry I posted this thinking that it was the limits for any risks - ie whether or you along with a job or not etc. I hadn't thought that it might be the authorisation limits as the other answers seem to suggest! so, not sure!
