Book synopsis
All suggestions welcome, many thanks in advance

in such a way that it comes and goes and swirls in the strongest winds
"it" referring to the mist previously mentioned, so the mist is mixing and swirling with the strong winds.
I'm not keen on brings and takes as I don't think they sound at all natural when talking about wind/mist, although I do like the idea of reflecting antonyms

Comment: "thanks to everyone, "swirls" fits perfectly. I consulted a Basque translator and she looked it up in the original language and said it can be taken with the wind as the subject, which makes sense."
1 hr
in such a way that brings, carries and intermingles above and below the strong winds
entremezclar: intermingle
1 hr
and it brings, lifts and mixes the highest and the lowest of the strong winds
another option!
12 hrs
so it brings, takes and mixes up strong winds everywhere.
A further suggestion.
I think the antonyms traer and llevar need to be reflected in the translation by the use of antonyms in English Also that "arriba y abajo" refer to it happening "all over the place/eveywhere" rather than being adjectives for the winds.

resulting in the ebbing and flowing/the to and fro movement and intermingling all over/up and down
Another way
In such a way that it causes the strong winds to ebb and flow and intermingle all over
18 hrs
...(thus) swirling the strong winds to and fro, up and down
Another alternative. Good luck.
