Hello

What is the best way to translate curas and cura in the following extract from the text I am working on:

Informe de Curas-Intervenciones/Resultados de Enfermería - NIC/NOC [NIC - Nursing Intervention Classification, NOC - Nursing Outcomes Classification]

NIC:

Observaciones/recomendaciones para curas: Rodilla menos inflamada, realizo cura con Betadine y se retira inmovilización. Se programa cita para RHB [rehabilitation] preferente y rev. con Rx en 3 semanas.

Thank you!

cleaning and dressing
Explanation:
This is one of those words that doesn't have an "specific" translation. "Cura" is the process of cleaning and dressing a wound or surgical incision. "Cure" is definitely not the translation for it, and "treatment" does not really gives the idea of what is done. Betadine is more of a cleaning solution than a "treatment".

I'll use "cleaning and dressing of wound (or incision)" for the title, and "cleaning with betadine" for the other one.

Examples:

Conditions and Diseases question: What is the value of using betadine solution in cleaning wounds? betadine is the trade name for Povidine-iodine.

treatment(s) ; cure

Explanation:
In this context, I like "treatment(s)" more since it states the knee is "less inflamed" or "less swollen" but not necessarily "cured"
