What would be a suitable translation for "in Bewegung bringen"? I can only think of "shake up" or "cause them to redefine", but neither is really what I'm looking for.

| Yes, but that's not what the text says --- it's about what's being done to the OLD (established) Gleichgewicht. Das etablierte Gleichgewicht wird in Bewegung gebracht (...damit ein neues Gleichgewicht entstehen kann). That's what I need a verb for. |
