Original text: Is there a XXX ID the employee is coding against?

Context: Company has a program to follow job opportunities and projects. Each project has an ID. I guess the employee enters information (amount of hours worked, etc) into the program
My translation: ¿Existe un XXX ID contra el cual el empleado está codificando? Sounds horrible. Please help.
