German term

Cocktailschale

Non-PRO German to English Other Wine / Oenology / Viticulture cocktails
The document I'm working on also uses the term "Cocktailglas," which I am taking to mean a general "cocktail glass."

I've done some research on the Cocktailschale and would greatly appreciate input from others. While LEO says that the English translation is "cocktail coupe," the images on google for a Cocktailschale make it look like it's more of a standard martini glass - and triangular, not rounded.

Another site used Cocktailschale with an image of a coupette (for margaritas, for example), but this isn't what the majority of google image hits for Cocktailschale would suggest is the correct/most standard usage.

have a look e.g. under the reference below. These are your type of martini glasses too, perhaps a bit fancier in this particular illustration. Plenty more hits in Google for "cocktail bowl".
