Italian term or phrase: commissioni di utilizzo
The context is the financial report of a bank. It is an item in a list of actions taken to comply with the MiFID directive. It then passes to another item. Does anybody know of an equivalent term and the particular "utilizzo" referred to. Is it "utilizzo di credito" for "uncovered operations"? Where the Italian bank not only charges you interest on the loan but also a commission for "using" the credit facility.

The compliance process continued in 2008 with the following objectives:

Example: If a fund pays commissions to an investment advisor/broker/fund of funds (including "soft" commissions or discounts) the advisor etc. is expected to transfer that benefit to the client. Otherwise, the advisor etc. charges commissions to the client on one side and collects commissions from the fund manager on the other side (which ultimately is at the expense of the investor).

Explanation:
Good morning Jim: I vaguely recall something translated many moons ago in this field and the term "Service Charges" crops up. In other words charges applied for the service rendered/made available.
