los valores nominales indicados en la placa de datos característicos


Explanation:
Supongo que hay otras formas de decir lo mismo.
O sea que quedará: Ponga en marcha (haga arrancar) el motor y verifique el sentido de giro, el nivel de ruido, los valores nominales indicados en la placa de datos característicos y la temperatura de los cojinetes/rodamientos (supongo que tiene más de uno).

Ya sé que no dice "nivel de ruido" pero "ruido" solo me parece muy pobre y "ruido mecánico" ¡qué! ¿no hay acaso ruidos eléctricos como el zumbido magnético?

Verificar los valores nominales significa que hay que medir la corriente del motor y la tensión. No creo que pretenda medir el cos phi,
