A little Fuzzy... It seems to be that I had a reason to fell fuzzy... Emma, the well-documented change is IN the consumer behaviour.. They mean something like: Everybody is actually changing his way of consuming bags & this something well documented !! [hope it helps..:)]

Je n'aime pas trop "accéder à un changement", d'où ma proposition, même si "aborder" est peut-être sous-traduit.

J'imagine que par "well-documented" l'auteur veut dire que des tas d'études/sondages ont été réalisés sur la question, mais je trouve que "changement bien documenté" n'est pas très naturel en français (je peux me tromper). D'où l'idée de "avéré" ou "vérifié"...

Personnellement, je n'aime pas trop "embrasser une tendance" : on embrasse une carrière, une religion, mais une tendance, bof (avis entièrement subjectif et peut-être erroné, je l'admets). Par ailleurs, "change" et "trend" ce n'est pas la même chose...je préfère "évolution", comme proposé par Ormiston et Sueaberwoman

hello ! - je suis d'accord avec votre interpétation - une autre suggestion (plus idiomatique = ces sociétés pourraient aussi 'surfer sur la vague de cette nouvelle mouvance' (acceptation de la part du public de changer leurs habitudes)
