At any event, even though this literal, word-by-word rendering is probably too simplistic, I hope it may at least give you a clear picture of what the expression means (no further context is really needed in this instance, save perhaps a clearer understanding of how this 'switching' is being implemented), and so help you to find the more natural expression that surely must exist. |
