then the term lent itself to the tinted strip at the top of the windshield. That's why the translation in some dictionaries, including Al-Mawrid translates it as حافة زجاج السيارة الأمامي.
Don't you think that "واقيات الشمس" and "الحافة العليا للزجاج الأمامي" must be one term?
