もちろん一般的には、取引先は、business partner なのですが、私が会社(製造業)で日々業務上やり取りしている文書では、取引先を指して、business partner とはあまり表現していません。
どのような内容の文書なのか、対象は誰に向けてなのか、などによって決める必要があると言えますね(^_^)
