This is in a maintenance agreement between a company that sells and rents out flat screens, TVs, etc. and a service provider that provides maintenance for them.
The sentence this comes in is:
"Ne seront facturés que la maintenance relative aux produits installés. Aucune maintenance au titre des produits en spare ne devra etre facturée."
I am a proofreader for this text. The translator has translated "produits en spare" as "spare parts", but I just wanted to check, as throughout the text "pièces détachées" has been used for spare parts. I'm wondering if this has a different meaning?
