Dutch term

economische gang van zaken

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
I do not like any of the variants I have been able to think of (too complicated or repetitive).

Any suggestions?
TIA

agree Ken Cox : depending on the context, more or less rewording might be appropriate (gvz is a cliché, so the translation should convey the intended meaning)

don't know... ask the original poster. i considered 'way of life' as being continuous/moving, and 'situation' more as 'stand van zaken', which is current/steady.
