degree thesis Explanation: En términos genéricos sería lo más ilustrativo, o sea "Tesis de Grado" o algo por el estilo. Pero no sé si habrá alguna diferencia fundamental en la práctica. |

final year essay; final year dissertation Explanation: Hi there. The problem of course is education systems are different, and whilst in Spain we also have the kind of assigments you are referring to, and usually they are called "tesina/-s", in the UK, for instance, where I did my degree, we didn't have such a thing in my BA programe... you just did essays in your final year like just the same as you took them in years 1, 2, 3... and if anything we just called them "final year essays" or "final year dissertations"...
