Traducendo un'offerta commerciale per uno stiratoio di film, compare:

Wasserbad mit integriertem Haltewerk
a.. Wasserbad mit ca. 500 l Inhalt einschließlich Pumpe und Wärmetauscher,
Wasserniveau verstellbar
b.. Filmabzug mit pneumatisch betätigten Quetschwalzen, frequenzgeregeltem

c.. Längsschneidwerk manuell betätigt, mit Querverstellung,
Filmchangierung zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer der Klingen

Per "Filmchangierung" mi è stato suggerito in altro contesto "corsa del film", ma mi pare un po' strano vedendo quello che segue....

Explanation:
E' solo una proposta.. nel sito indicato da Ina si parla di "traverse motion" che corrisponde sia alla corsa, sia ad un movimento rettilineo alternato (o anche movimento di va e vieni). Trasversale non lo ripeterei dato che prima parla già di "Querverstellung".
Non so se sia corretto ma spero comunque di esserti stata utile:)
