Dobrý den.

They arrived in waves, the same ones flew over repeatedly. All we heard was the wailing siren, it dived and boom!

Řeč je o střemhlavých bombardérech (konkrétně tento typ: http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkers_Ju_87).

Potřebuji najít výraz pro "it dived" (manévr, který bombardér udělá před vypuštěním bomby - obrázek zde: http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Střemhlavý_bombardér).
Mám tam dát "vrhnout se střemhlav" nebo znáte nějaký jiný, laikům srozumitelný výraz?

Koukám, že ženský začínají překládat vojenskou vřavu. Teď se ještě chlapi vrhnou střemhlav na červenou knihovnu, a bude konec světa.... :-)
