trata-se de um texto de literatura juvenil, em que um miúdo está a dormir e lhe estão a fazer partidas. A dada altura, diz que ele "puckered up". Ainda pensei que o significado fosse que ele tinha acordado, mas, pela continuação, ele continua a dormir.
Não consigo encontrar um significado que faça sentido neste contexto. Alguém me pode ajudar?

Essa é a expressão mais usada. Exemplo:
O menino queria sair, mas sua mãe não chegou. Então, ele "fez bico", numa tentativa de convencer a mão do contrário.
Obs: Muitas vezes a expressão é traduzida como "fazer birra".
