What makes rendering this term hard? The word "ermittler". IMO the action is "demand assesment" but who on earth does it? An investigator or reporter. However such a occupation is unknown to me and it is not idiomatic to say assesor nor the other options. Usually people doing such assesments are consultants or analysts in general. My best bet is we can safely assume they are "demand analysts"
