the data storage medium build inside a standard computer. Some computer do not have hard drive, specially in big company's environment as extension of a net work system. They usually call: Work Station

A standard computer usually composed with 3 parts. The CPU (central process unit), the Memory, (RAM=Random Access Memory) and storage medium (the hard disk or hard drive). Other than those, are peripherals. i.e.: input/output devices, floopy disk drive, CD drive, audio..etc.
