Tras la cerca el bosque se enseñorea del paisaje dejando atrás los cultivos. Una nueva alambrada viene a confluir con el camino, pero éste enseguida describe una revuelta a la derecha separándose de ella. Sobre el cerrado matorral se dibujan los resaltes calizos de la sierra elevándose a más de 1000 m. de altitud.
En este enclave llama la atención la notable diversidad vegetal y encinas, marojos, quejigos y hayas medran en singular cortejo. Andados 475 m. desde la alambrada se cruza un nuevo vallado tras del cual se alterna matorral, hayedo y terreno despejado.

I don't think suggesting the trees are actually courting each other works well in English, and since cortejo can refer to other ceremonies as well as courting (DRAE def 2: m. Conjunto de personas que forma el acompañamiento en una ceremonia), I would go with this visual picture. We´re talking about the way the trees stand (are growing) in relation to each other, as if they have chosen the particular layout.
