I have a ver specific question. Does anyone know the difference betweeen consulting and consultancy and advisory services?
German word would be Unternehmensberatung but not to the extend of consulting a huge company but a little company or individuals.
So I was wondering if there is any differnce between the terms above mentioned...

I have worked as a consultant myself for several years.
I was in the consulting business, but I never owned a consultancy firm myself, I rendered advisory services (consulting services) to my clients.

I really don't know if there is a hard distinction between the English terms you're wondering about. I think it may well be just a matter of preference. I'm currently translating a doc that includes a businesman's CV, and he uses Beratungsaufträge.
