I guess this is not the right place to air this but I figured that most people don't check the forums. (I know I only check them rarely). I would like to clarify something that's come up recently. You may have noticed postings I've made, suggesting that askers go to the glossary first, before putting questions on the board. I hope I don't come across as arrogant or rude. I just feel that people should make use of this excellent feature - it's virtually another dictionary. It's also a bit of a waste of time for the askers to do it all over again, when a ten-second glance at the glossary would have answered, or at least helped to answer the 'abacaxi' concerned. I know it's hardly a terrible crime if you don't, but please check the glossary before you post a question. It's for everyone's benefit.

You are right
Sometimes we answer the question anyway, or the asker might think we are not courteous, but recently a number of questions have been asked that are already in the Glossary.

Also the hybrid search
I usually point out to people that they should use the hybrid search before posting and explain how to do it. But I already told ProZ staff that the hybrid search option is not very visible, it is not sufficiently highlighted.
If you enter the page, it is almost natural to go stright to the question instead of searching.
