futuristic-looking

English to Chinese Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
I've learned that futuristic in Chinese is 未来派的, but what about futuristic-looking? The context is those futuristic- looking sneakers in "Back to the Future 2". Also, for a movie originally in English, would you translate the title into Chinese? If so, what is that in Chinese? Thanks!

憧憬未来的

Maybe you should provide more context for us to give you a more accurate answer. I have watched the movie series "Back to the Future", which is a pretty good one. As far as I know, its Chinese name is "回到未来".

Who does the word "sneaker" refer to? Marty and Dr. Brown? If yes, I will feel more confident about my answer.
Look forward to your further information.

I see. Then "未来型" may be a closer answer. I thought it referred to some people.
To Mr. Wenjer Leuschel: IMO, here the word "looking" may mean sth like "appearance".
To the Asker: I kindly suggest you provide more context when asking the next question. Thx.

Hi, Caroline Moreno,
After a review of the answers, I agree more with the answer "未来感", e.g., 他穿着一双有未来感的运动鞋.

Hopefully my efforts help. Cya :-)
Note from asker:
Hi Zhendong, a "sneaker" is a tennis shoe, or an athletic shoe. The context here is simply stating that the shoe that Marty wears in the beginning of the movie is futuristic-looking.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Wenjer Leuschel (X) : “憧憬”expects dreams to come true in the future, while a futuristic viewpoint doesn't necessarily expect any dream to come true but just look into the future for whatever may and can happen./ The context is enough while the space for my comment not.

Not exactly. It depends on the context. As I said, the context, which plays an important role in translation, is not enough for an accurate answer.

具有展望未来观点的

The Swiss writer Erich von Däniken published in 1968 a book titled "Erinnnerungen an die Zukunft." This book has been translated into more than two dozens of languages, including several English versions. However, some people translate the title to "Memories of the Future," some to "Reminding the Future" and still some to "Remindings to the Future."

These two video clips are an extension of his Gedankengang, thought process. I would name his writing "futuristic" while he was writing about facts which are historically difficult to explain and which led him to suspect the possibility of some advanced intelligent beings visiting the Earth and created such cultures which are now extinct.

"Futurist-looking sneakers" could be very well such advanced intelligent beings from somewhere in the Universe or even from the Earth itself. That is why I would translated this term into Chinese the way I do.

Aha, now I know what went wrong!
The futuristic-looking sneakers are those worn by Matty.
No people at all.
So, both pkchan's and Pei Ling's answers are all right.
