Например, у врача была страховка его практики на период с 2000 по 2003 год. В 2005 году ему предъявили иск по случаю неправильно проведенной операции в 2002 году, т.е. в тот период, когда у него была страховка.
Если в его страховке был соответствующий пункт о Tail Coverage, то он вправе получить страховые выплаты и в 2005 году.
