English term
grocery products sector
English to Spanish

Food & Drink
It's the description of the company where I work. It's divided into Dairy Products Sector and Grocery Products Sector. Our only Spanish speaking subsidiary is in Argentina, but the website in Spanish can be read by any Spanish speaker in the world. I'm afraid that if I say "Sector de productos de almacén", some people won't understand. My Peruvian colleague tells me "abarrotes" or "abasto", but then Argentinians won't understand... any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

your text is not about "grocery store" but "grocery products" that is why you can rule out all the concepts of stores and the huge numberof syninyms and regional variations: tiendas, avarrotes, almacenes, bodegas...and even in some latino neighborhood in the US: "grocería" but tht would be a true "grosería" :)

¡gracias a ti! "Alimentación" no está del todo mal, pero simplemente es la traducción de "food", de modo que "food sector"= "sector de la alimentación"

Sector de Productos de Almacén
BAmary: los "Dairy Products" también son comestibles.
En Argentina, se diferencia al Sector de Productos Lácteos del Sector de los Productos de Almacén.
