In a training guide for a course on management styles, this phrase appears in a list of suggestions for managers whose sytle is "Paternaliste":

- Ayant la sainte obsession des résultats, et de vos intérêts, vous êtes suffisamment attentif au personnel pour ne pas en remettre. Pensez marge bénéficiaire.

I'm a bit unsure as to what the "en remettre" refers to. Thanks again for any help.

Even though, "exaggerate" can work as a translation in certain contexts, it doesn't seem to in this one.

en remettre = faire ou dire plus qu'il ne faut

In this context, you need to be attentive enough to the personnel so that that your real intentions/goals are not too obvious.

Sometimes, "en remettre" can be translated as:

exaggerate
going overboard
rubbing it in (closer to "being too obvious", or "emphazing")
