клиники для профзаболеваний и научных исследований
Полагаю, что автор вопроса прав в отношении *профессиональные*, но лучше "профзаболевания". Этот термин практически всегда используют со значением "заболевания, связанные с характером работы/профессии". ВИЧ и малярия передаются через кровь и все, что с этим связано, поэтому для медиков, работающих в пунктах забора крови, переливания крови, пр., эти болезни являются профессиональными.

В отношении site clinics - сочетание преимущественно используется при описании места проведения клинических исследований (site clinics, site hospitals). Учитывая то, что в скобках указаны именно 2 заболевания, которыми вплотную занимаются ученые всего мира ( малярия и ВИЧ считаются болезнями, эндемичными для Африканского континента), мне кажется, что это наиболее возможный вариант.

"Typically, on-site clinics have been confined to both occupational medicine - treating and preventing work injuries - and to larger employers. That may be changing. Today, some health service providers are targeting smaller employers, with a half day on-site medical services provided at a rate of about a half day per every 150 employees."
The idea is to shift occupational treament to on-site clinics, i.e. therory to practice, off-site to on-site, expesive to budgetary. That is why "ведомственные клиники is the same as медпункты на объектах", i.e. internal, in-house. In Europe, there are almost no factory-own occupational services, but indepent institutes and centers which work as "учреждения и профзаболеваний и гигиены труда" located outside of emplyers' industrial sites. Industry has small on-site clinics instead. In this sense, there is no counterpart to Russian ведомственные клиники (Poliklinika Akademii Nauk, Studencheskaia poliklinika, etc. for all emplyees of Academy of Sciences or students and professor of some 10 institutes/colleges). In the industrialized natuions, "ведомственные клиники" are local on-site clinics. Occupational is "professional'nye, not "ведомственные".
