French term

rupture de charge

French to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping
-Interconnexion de deux réseaux ferroviaires avec des véhicules circulant à la fois sur les voies d’un réseau de tramway urbain et sur les voies ferrées régionales
-Permet de se déplacer longtemps sans « rupture de charge ».

Lots of mentions of "rupture de charge" on the web, though apparently with a range of different meanings. Anyone able to tell me how it should be translated in this context? Thanks in advance for any help...

[without] having to disembark passengers

"Charge" in this context would be the "passenger load. " You could also turn the phrase around and say "without passengers having to change [transport modes]. Hope this helps
