agree David Brown : there are over 100,000 hits on Google for "por mor de" and I have translated "por mor de la brevidad" several times in articles, meaning "due to brevity"

The document does say "por mor". Probably a typo; it said "suplicio" instead of "suplico" in another place... big difference!
