Forgive me if you are already aware of this, if you aren't, an explanation may be helpful because I'd rather leave you to decide on the best translation of Anglo-saxon legal concepts into French.
Title release
Under English law, you can give security over the title you hold in an asset in return for e.g. a loan so that if you don't pay up, the lender can take the asset. When you pay back that loan, the security over your asset is released.
I am not entirely happy that "titre" in French is an adequate translation because of its potential translation as "security". Maybe "décharge de titre de propriété" is better?
If someone owes you money in relation to an asset in your possession, you may have a lien by law over that asset i.e. you are allowed to hold on to the asset until the owner pays you the money. So when the owner of the asset pays you the money owed, the lien is satisfied.
My trusty BMS legal dico translates satisfation as either "acquittment" or "satisfaction". I am always wary of translating the same word from French to English which is why "acquittement" may be better....
