Asker: I know that, I need a polish equivalent of it

disagree  Edith Kelly: this is an English monolingual question

-> You are right. I provided the explanation in English when I noticed it. Thank you, EdithK :)

agree  Will Matter: Asker actually indicates that they need a Polish translation. This answer is acceptable, given that the asker apparently doesn't fully understand how KudoZ works. Want Polish? Ask for Polish and get it.

4. Searching a specific document

Allows searches by a number of a specific category of document (regulation, decision, directive, COM-document or of a case)

Every document in the database has a unique identification number, the CELEX number, which provides direct access to a specific document. The CELEX number is composed by an alphanumeric sequence of eight digits: SyyTnnnn, interpreted as follows:

S: sector number refers to file level indexation,
i.e. legislative file, case law file,
preparatory acts file, etc.

yy: the last two digits of the year of the
document

T: type of legal act represented by a one- or
two-character letter code

nnnn: document number usually based on the act's
original number

Sector 1: Treaties
Sector 2: Agreements and other acts resulting from external relations of the Community or member states with non-member countries and international organisations
Sector 3: Secondary legislation (regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations, opinions, some communications and programmes)
Sector 4: Supplementary legislation (international agreements concluded between member states)
Sector 5: Preparatory work (Commission proposals, notices of common positions, communications, reports and programmes, resolutions of the European Parliament)
Sector 6: Case law of the Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance (judgements, orders, opinions of the Advocates General)
Sector 7: National provisions implementing directives
Sector 9: Parliamentary questions
