state of solidarity, solidarity-based state
A very, very good question; from what I've seen this relatively recent Polish buzzword has yet to stabilize any "established" English translation. These are the only two options I use and strongly recommend; they are what such publications as the Economist / NYT / WBJ were using to translate the notion during last year's election campaign.
What's wrong with the other options? "Solidary" (if it even counts as English at all, IMHO) is a legal term and unappropriate here. Unforutnately, this is the term that is used in many official documents in Poland - although wrongly in my view. "Solidaristic", in turn, for me specifically harks back to Solidarism. Neither "solidary" or "solidaristic" will be recognizable or interpretable for any ordinary English speaker (i.e. "solidaristic state" will mean nothing to anyone who is not well versed in history, the "solidaristic" ideology of the Third French Republic, etc.)
In Polish, on the other hand, everyone immediately gets the gist of "solidarne państwo". Hence my proposal to follow leading UK/US publications and translate the notion into recognizable English.

Tłumaczenie to interpretacja! "Tłumaczenie dosłowne" nie istnieje, a rzetelny tłumacz chce jak najwierniej oddać treść (myśl, podtekst a nie słowo), którą pragnie „zapodać” autor, nie mieszając do tego własnych poglądów. Apolityczne slogany polityczne?

It's a non-concept so it cannot be translated into any normal language. Leave it, drop it, replace with asterisks or, ideally, with this 'empty set' sign !!!

i know that 'panstwo = state' and 'narodowy=national' - but'for examlpe, in the US 'state' is not the same as 'national' and in the British media 'state' is often perjorative (cf. 'nanny state', for example) - which is why I've suggested 'nation'. :-)
