Probably something easy, but I am stumped by it.
This is the thing in the drawer of a till in a shop which can and must be removed.
"Zur Kassenabrechnung werden die Einsätze der Kassenladen in einen von Außen nicht einsehbaren Raum gebracht, in der Regel Büro/Aufenthaltsraum."
Is is simply draw dividers or inserts possibly?

This is going to be on of those cases where the English is more specific than the German. It must be the thing that's actually got the cash in it, otherwise there would be no need for all that security.

Cash tray
Fits inside the cash till drawer.
The full tray is removed with the cah still in it and replaced by an empty one once a certain sum has built up or at spcific intervals.
Cash till manufacturers such as Posimat, IBM, call them trays.
