Discussion

Maria Martins (asker) Jan 11, 2006:
Just found this note on a website: "paredes apaineladas em mogno". So from here I can try and come up with something for the 2 separate questions I asked. Thanx
Beta Cummins Jan 11, 2006:
You are very welcome. Thanks for the opportunity in helping out,I just love this job.
Maria Martins (asker) Jan 11, 2006:
Yes you're correct! Uau I just had that idea whilst reading the all sentence: "Works of art by such French masters as Majorelle, Gall, Mercier, and Gaillard set off handmade European carpets, marble floors and staircases, mahogany and burl wood wall panelling and glittering chandeliers". It's the walls that are panelling. Must think better about this...using your answer to the other question. Thank you very much!
Beta Cummins Jan 11, 2006:
Are there chandeliers "panelled" as per a possible description on your originals? Or are there pannels separately, from them?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.

agree Beta Cummins : I agree with "candelabros cintilantes". As far as "panelling" is concerned, i think we need more details.

thanks
disagree Susy Ordaz : panelling is normally wood so it can not glitter.

Wall panelling = lambril (sing.)(wood panel or lining on the walls of room)

Obrigado, Carlos63. Sim, também pode ser.
