Dear Proz,

I know that this is not really the "front". How would you translate this. This means "next to the logo" rather than in front. Any options?

"The customer must enter the assigned PIN number located on the front of the card carrier to complete the transaction"

el texto dice on the front ..., en el frente de lo contrario sería en la parte posterior.

"Junto" no te sirve, Claudia. **On the front of the card carrier** significa "en la parte de adelante del porta-tarjeta". Esto último es lo más simple que puedes poner, si el público será gente tan ignorante como para ignorar lo que es el anverso, el lado del frente. Y fíjate bien: No dice "IN front of the card".

agree Tomás Cano Binder, BA, CT : Sí, francamente "anverso" es lo que debe decirse. "front" es "anverso" y "back" es "reverso". En este contexto, sinceramente, es lo correcto. Además el público en general (al menos en España) está acostumbrado a "anverso" para designar la cara delantera.
