Italian term
mandante/mandatario
Italian to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
Fiduciary contract
Mandante and mandatorio have many meanings depending on context and I'm not entirely sure which translations are more appropriate for the above terms in the following context. The inverted commas are present in the Italian text (have not been added in by me!) Many thanks in advance for you help.
Il "Mandante" autorizza la banca a pagare direttamente le fatture relative alle spese derivanti dal presente contratto che verrano inoltrate dal "Mandatario", e a corrispondere al "Mandatario" l'onorario e le spese di mandato derivanti dal presente contratto. Il "Mandante" si impegna ad informare immediatamente il "Mandatario" in caso di revoca di tale autorizzazione.

The passage included really isn't enough for me to be sure what the contract is all about, but this is often how the terms can be translated.

It does sound like a principal/agent relationship. The agent is seeking a renter on behalf of the principal, the woman who lives abroad.
