Si el software en cuestión no está traducido, y lo que estás traduciendo es un manual entonces sería mejor dejar los nombres de los colores tal como están. Si lo que estás haciendo es la traducción del software en sí, y no sólo el manual, entonces quizás mi sugerencia te pueda ser útil.

Precisamente ahora estoy traduciendo una instrucciones de cómo utilizar una herramienta de software. La interfaz del software en sí se quedará en inglés. Si el programa al cual se refiere tu traducción tiene un menú de colores en inglés y tu traduces los colores al español, eso no ayuda al usuario. Como te dije, todo depende de si el software en sí va a traducirse. Creo que es esencial saberlo, y no no sabes, preguntarle al cliente.
