XML words count

I am trying to count XML words for translation, but only for specific tag.

I have XML that I need to translate only the words between ???, and like to count only that and not all the words in the XML.

Because preparing XML files for translation has been made even easier than before in it. But it can be done in earlier releases of SDLX too.

Alternatively, you can make an ini file for it in Trados TagEditor. After that you can use the corresponding analyze functions in both CAT tools.

Because the Analyze function is available only in SDLX Professional, you can use the free SDL Utilities to count words and characters in the ITD file you have created and applied a TM to it. It is the second best choice, if you don't have SDLX Professional.
