With globalization advancing, exchanges of information on a world-wide scale have become more and more active, and a huge amount of information is flowing every day. On the other hand there are multitudes of cultures which human beings have built up over thousands of years, each of them creating distinctive characters. These cultures have been handed down from generation to generation by those who share the same language and there is no denying that language has played a great role in constructing the cultures of the world. From a different viewpoint, however, language remains to be a barrier to fluent flows of information in a world of Internet.
A number of machine translations have been introduced which, however, don't seem to be good enough to meet the needs of various customers. Making good use of my experience related to the English language, I would like to be of great help as a translator between English and Japanese. |
