Bio
I graduated as an English Sworn Translator from the School of Law of Universidad de la República, Uruguay, in 2010. In 2013, I moved to Scotland to get my Master’s in Literary Translation as Creative Practice at the University of Edinburgh. It was an enriching experience, both personally and professionally.

My passion for literary translation drove me to become one of the translators of the bilingual catalogs for the International Film Festival of Uruguay in six of its editions. I also have experience in other areas, such as intellectual property -particularly chemical and technical patents-, as well as in simultaneous interpreting.

In 2016, I worked in the content area of a mobile game company where, in addition to managing a team of 12, I gained experience in content writing and localization. In 2019, I decided to pursue a second master's degree in that field and I am currently studying localization in Spain.
