Bio
Born and raised in Croatia, currently a teacher of English Language and Literature in the Comprehensive and Professional School of Juraj Dobrila, Pazin (GSSJD Pazin), where I have been working since 2006. It was the same year that I graduated from the University of Rijeka, where I attained my BoA in English Language and Literature and Computer Science at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Translation is not my profession, but it falls in the category of my completed studies and was, indeed, one of the curriculum subjects. Insofar, I have been translating as a freelancer, a variety of texts in the fields of pedagogy, science fiction and fantasy, economics, multimedia and information technologies, science of fluid mechanics, rights of the disabled, etc.

My native language is Croatian, primary foreign language is English, but I also studied Italian throughout elementary and high school, which came in handy during my summer job of 2006 when I was employed as an animator in tourism for the Valamar company.

For reference, you can check out the official website of Istrakon, the annual SF&F convention held in my town, where most of the English translations of the articles are mine (however, hastily done).
