Precise Reliable Resourceful

I specialize in translation of proposals and reports in the fields of entrepreneurship, agricultural and socio-economic development, public administration, and education. Much of my work has been in NGO and governmental sectors.

Translations for the private sector include biotechnology, tourism, and general business (annual reports, business plans, website localization, marketing and business intelligence documents, etc.).

I also routinely proofread professional work in English by non-native speakers, including graduate theses in the above-mentioned areas of specialty and other non-fiction.
I have occasionally worked on visual media projects, translating scripts and doing voicework.

I hold an M.B.A. from the University of Quebec in Montreal, a B.A. in French and Political Science from the University of Michigan. My knowledge of French was supplemented by stints in Aix-en-Provence, Montreal, Ottawa, and by teaching in a French Lycée in Santo Domingo. Spanish came more easily: marriage and a move to the Dominican Republic in 1998.
