(1985-PRESENT) Since 1985, I have been translating for several notary-public firms: marriage and birth certificates; general and limited power-of-attorney documents; school and university transcripts and diplomas and other kinds of training certificates; court's notifications, judgements, sub- poenas, and other legal documens; consulates and embassies's notifications, letters, permits, and other immigration literature.
My fees are reasonable, market-based, and they are calculated on a per-word price basis, depending on the number of words involved in the target language, unless a client provide the source-language text in the MS Word format. In this case, the total fee will be based on the source language's total number of words which can be verified by the word-count feature of MS Word.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Regardless of the number of words, my lowest per-word fee is reserved and granted for the following types of clients, translation types and special situations:
1. My first book-translation-job's closed deal which I get through a direct contact via the Proz.com's link to my personal e-mail box.2. Closed-deal translations of books about European history from all eras and periods, including 20th century/ contemporary era.
3. Books and periodical articles about the current affairs and development of the European Union in all areas concerned since its beginnings.
4. Books about the current affairs, origen, and history of the Roman Catholic Church since the first century (or since about the year 170 A.C.).
