I am always on the quest of new opportunities to utilize and continue to develop my knowledge and skills in Translation in order to make a meaningful contribution to overcoming language barriers.

Although as part of my university education I also trained as Translator and Interpreter, for over 20 years I worked predominantly in Sales and Customer Service Operations positions in the UK, the US, Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland.

As well as my commercial duties, acting as an interpreter and translating, proofreading and adapting official marketing and technical documents had always been some of the responsibilities with which my previous employers had entrusted me.

Recently, I made the decision to leave my stable job and income in order to pursue my passion, do that at which I truly excel and become a full-time Translator and Interpreter.

In addition to my mother tongue, Spanish, during the past twenty years studying and working abroad, I have also gained perfect fluency in written and spoken English, French and Italian. I am also currently teaching myself German, in which I have already acquired professional working proficiency (C1)

I have also acquired relevant hands-on field experience in the healthcare industry as a result of my training as Nursing Assistant, Radiodiagnostic Technologist or Naturopathy Practitioner, as well as of my recent commercial roles at Eurofins Clinical Research and Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics.

By virtue of the multitasking nature of my previous roles I have gained the ability to learn anything to which I set my mind.
