Bio

My name is Melina Tiussi and I’m very interested in working for you as a freelance translator/proofreader (English to Brazilian Portuguese). I am a native Brazilian Portuguese linguist with over five years of experience, specializing mainly in Health and Dentistry, but also in entertainment. My only language pair i English-Brazilian Portuguese.  My qualifications include Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry and a Certificate of Translation (English to Brazilian Portuguese - a 9-month practical course). I have volunteered for organizations such as Translator Without Borders and TED, which have greatly increased my skills as a translator. Besides having a professional and educational background in dentistry/oral and maxillofacial surgery, I am a very responsible and flexible translator and proficient in several CAT Tools. You can be sure your specialized materials are in qualified hands.
