Born in the U.S. and raised in Japan, I have studied in both countries specializing in theories of visual art, literature, media and culture. Possesses a wide range of experiences in translation and subtitling, particularly related to art exhibitions, performing arts, films, and academic conferences. Extensive knowledge of Japanese arts and culture. Formerly worked at the Japan Foundation, New York as cultural attaché. Currently working on literary translation projects.
